Second series : My dreamlike visions of Coma explore the hazy mental state of consciousness that animates us; the state of our minds and also that of our bodies. In tribute to a friend that was struck by illness, my works are an invitation to reflect on internal struggles, our emotions and ourselves. Here the movement is as much psychological as physical. The gradual spreading of concentric spots is something inherently organic, cellular or neuronal. They grow, mingle and blur like nascent ideas. The Coma, between the suffering over obsession and the fulfilment of dreams.
